In dreams, it’s common to find yourself traveling through a hallway. Sometimes the hallway is dark, sometimes it’s bright. Sometimes the hallway will be a straight shot from one end to the other, other times, there will be twists and turns involved.
So what do hallways mean?
Hallways symbolize a point of transition. The dream is indicating that there’s going to be a short distance of time and space that will take you from where you are to where you are going. Depending on the details of what that hallway looks like and feels like – that’ll give you more details as to what you’re likely to experience in that time of transition.
For example, a hallway with multiple twists and turns means there’s likely to be many deviations, and flexibility / alertness will be necessary. If the hallway has multiple doors lining it – this could mean that during that transitional space, you’re going to be faced with multiple opportunities and you’ll need wisdom to make the right decision. If there’s a sense of danger, or a sense of calm as you walk through the hallway in the dream – this will give you an idea of the spiritual climate that will be surrounding you during that transitional time. All of these clues are for the purpose of readiness to help you succeed.
Hallways are very similar to bridges in dreams. However, bridges are open to their environment. In hallways, visibility is narrowed and limited. You can’t really see beyond the walls, or beyond what’s directly in front of you.
