Juice Recipe: Daily Green Juice

This is one of my favorite juices to have first thing in the morning. A green juice is gentle enough on my stomach, but revs me up with the energy I need to get going. It’s also a great feeling to know that before my first meeting ever takes place, I’ve had a solid dose of greens.

This recipe makes about 2 servings. Remember, you want to aim for a typical serving of about 16oz of juice. I don’t make mine super sweet as I prefer lemon more than sugar. But if you have more of a sweet tooth, add in some more apple.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Daily Green Juice

4 cucumbers

1 stalk celery

1 bunch curly parsley

2 bunches kale

1 full bunch spinach

4 apples (granny smith, gala, or honey crisp are my favorites)

3 lemons

Wash all produce very well. Juice your lemons with a citrus juicer, and set aside. Feed all the remaining produce through your juicer. Stir in lemon juice and give it a taste test. If it’s not sweet enough, juice another apple or two and stir it in. Or, if you prefer more of a citrus flavor like I do, add in the juice of another lemon. Enjoy!

Here’s to your health,
