Flying in Dreams

I don’t know about you, but for me, flying dreams sit at the top of the list of those never want to wake up from. As usual, we have to consider the overall context of the dream, but here’s what these dreams could be communicating to you:

⁣1.) Flying dreams usually signify an ability to 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘃𝗲 your circumstances and have a higher perspective. These dreams usually happen when we’re going through difficult circumstances or facing a hard situation that is pulling us down. In these moments, flying dreams can remind us: don’t get stuck in the minutia, rise above it!⁣

⁣2.) Flying dreams are often one of the first signs of a 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗴𝗶𝗳𝘁. Since we have to navigate the wind (symbol of the Holy Spirit) in order to fly, it indicates an ability to move in the things of the Spirit!⁣

Zoom out in the dream and pay attention to where you are, what you’re flying over, how well are you doing navigating the winds? The more you can control your flight indicates a greater degree of skill or ability.

I dreamed about 5 years ago that I was in a town that was rundown and full of despair and darkness. I wanted to go down an alley but kept being redirected. Scene changes and now I am on the edge of a flat rooftop. A wind came by and pushed my off. I began to fall and then learned how to navigate the fall. I began to zoom around and then I dove down and saw a couple sitting at a table that was outside at a restaurant that had closed. I flew by them and yelled repent and flew back up. I was now flying wherever I wanted with ease. I began diving and yelling repent and then fly somewhere else…etc.
