As we get ready to kick off the New Year, I’d like to take a little detour from my posts on juicing and invite you to join me for an 80 day journey through the Gospels of the Bible starting January 1st.
This last year, I decided to switch things up a bit with my personal study time, and I read through the four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke & John), in Chronological order and it proved to be one of the best studies I’ve ever done. I liked it so much that I plan on doing it again and this time, I thought I’d invite other people along for the journey!
The Bible Reading Plan I will be following is available through the YouVersion Bible App and is called 80 Days Before The Cross: The Life of Jesus. This plan will take us through the four Gospels, in chronological order, walking through the life of Jesus from His birth to His ascension into Heaven.
The best part is, with Easter coming so early this next year, it just so happens that by starting this reading plan January 1st, we will read through the Gospels in 80 days, finishing on the Sunday before Easter!
So if this sounds like something you’d be interested in, I invite you to join me. Just download the YouVersion Bible App (it’s absolutely free, and has several translations of the Bible you can pick from). Once you download the app, just click on the “Plans” tab and type in “80 Days” and you’ll easily find the reading plan I’m referring to.
Another great feature of this app is that it allows you to build community with other people. You’ll see a “Friends” tab under your profile. If you’d like to follow me as we read along together, just click on “Add Friends” and search for me under Linda G Riddle.
Whatever your plans are for kicking off the New Year, I pray that you dream big, grow strong, and that you are surrounded by other people through the journey. It’s going to be a great year!
Here’s to your spiritual health!

p.s. I will be sharing commentary throughout the study!
Hi Ms. Linda! Would it be alright to copy your 80 day devotional? I would like to keep it. Thanks!
Hi Ruby! Thank you so much for being thoughtful enough to ask. You most certainly may. I would just ask that you site my blog as the source (or at least me as the author).
